During the Qing Dynasty, the Zisha teaware produced for the imperial palace was considered the finest of the fine. The famous five studios outside the palace, including the XYHT, were also known for their excellent artistry and were highly revered by collectors. These works of art are all created by masters such as Yang Pengnian 杨彭年, Shen Xi 申锡, Ji’an 吉安, and Shao Youting 邵友廷, with exceptional craftsmanship. They represent Zaiquan’s refined aesthetic taste and exhibit the style of an imperial palace. These precious cultural relics have been passed down for a long time. The owner of XYHT Zai Quan 载铨 is from the fourth generation of the prince's house. Xing You Heng Tang is privately owned and used exclusively by the owner.

This exquisite artwork is a faithful reproduction of Ji’an’s Xing You Heng Tang Shi Piao, meticulously set by Master Ma Pinyi. The crafting was overseen by Tang Chongkai, who, under Ma Pinyi’s guidance, sought to interpret his profound understanding of culture and art. The aim was to breathe new life into traditional classics, fostering artistic inheritance and creation through imitation and release. This unique approach allows the piece to capture the essence of the ancients, while still maintaining its own distinct interpretation, a testament to the mastery of the craftsmen involved.

This teapot has a refined and elegant vibe. When compared to the Zi Ye Shipao, this one has a much gentler approach. The pot has a trapezoidal shape with smooth curves, which gives it a simple and natural look. The triangular-shaped feet not only provide a sense of lightness but also add stability to the pot. The combination of curves and straight lines creates a simple and elegant aesthetic. The handle, which is in an inverted triangle shape, complements the shape of the pot perfectly and enhances its harmonious appearance.

Tang Chongkai, an artist and national-level arts and crafts artist, is a disciple of The Grand Masters Wang Xiaolong and Gao Lijun as well as a fellow junior disciple of Ma Pinyi. Tang Chongkai inherits solid traditional craftsmanship and is knowledgeable in the study of aesthetics. Under the guidance of Ma Pin Yi, Zisha is utilized as a medium to express the unique and advanced aesthetics of One Space.
